1. Zero Waste Alliance Ireland supports the right to peaceful protest.

2. A shift away from fossil fuel dependancy is urgently needed.

3. Without a reliable and viable alternative to petrol and diesel, another crisis is inevitable.

4. The rollercoaster price of oil is wreaking havoc on the livelihoods of people across the world including Ireland.

5. War causes instability in trade networks, which has direct impacts on workers and families.

6. Ceasefire and sustained peace is required.

7. Any ceasefire agreement must not be violated by the US or Israel.

8. Zero Waste Alliance Ireland advocates for a circular economy, free of fossil fuels.

This means:

No reliance on rollercoaster fuel prices.

Replacement of fossil fuels with renewable electric power.

Transition to renewable energy for fertiliser production and circular economy principles.

Food security. Job security.
