Launching in next week, this film takes viewers beneath the surface of Ireland’s coastline to reveal the extraordinary role seagrass meadows play in capturing carbon, supporting marine life, and protecting our shores. These underwater ecosystems are essential to the health of our oceans, yet many people have never seen them, or even heard of them.
We are happy to invite you to our first launch of the Documentary:
📅 16 June 2026
🕧 12:30 - 2 pm
📍 THB-G010, Hardiman Building, University of Galway
🎟️ Free tickets available via Eventbrite here
Bring a friend and help spread the word about this critical ecosystem! See you in Galway.
This event is part of ZWAI’s Seagrass Project and aims to raise awareness, inspire action, and foster collaboration for marine conservation in Ireland and beyond. For more Information, click here.
BTW: We aim to attend to more film festivals. If you know a place where we could show the Documentation, let us know please! Contact: admin@zwai.ie
